I am a nonbinary Korean American photographer based in San Antonio, TX and part-time in Sacramento, CA. I am available for portraits, headshots, personal branding, wedding, and event photography. I also offer nonprofit and video storytelling. I specialize on documenting the queer community from a decolonialized lens. My work has also appeared in publications such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and San Francisco Chronicle. Check out my editorial and documentary work here.
“Salgu did a great job of keeping the communication open. We had a game plan ready to go on the wedding day. They also did well with relatives of various ages and languages.“

“I enjoyed the experience. I appreciated your calm nature. Since I often deal with anxiety, it was nice that you did not make me feel rushed, and I felt that you were present with me in the moment. I appreciate that you took time to ask me questions and offered suggestions for fun photos that we could take. I am very happy with the photos and your talent shines through. I feel you captured me in my true self.“

“Excellent photography in any environment! They did a project with me to celebrate for my transition and it was out in nature and turned out wonderfully. Their flexibility with scheduling and talent with the art make for an excellent experience!“
